The Ark of Safety Center, Inc., is a non-profit faith-based organization committed to restoring addicted and non-addicted individuals from the life altering decisions that have kept them in bondage. The Center provides housing and supportive services to men and women seeking peace and guidance towards healthy living and restoring their families. Christian values, morals and social principles is the Center's primary focus. With proper support and focus, participants will renew their confidence and return to their families and community.

Basic program concepts are:

• Out In The Storm – One-on-one ministering, assessment and redirection
• In The Boat – Life Skills application and foundation building for long-term success
• Dry Land – Follow-Up and maintenance; moving toward self-sufficiency

Inspired to provide a safe haven for men and women desiring housing, support, spiritual guidance and a helping hand, Minister Kenneth McClamb birth the Ark of Safety Center ministry in 1999. Minister McClamb points out that “it is time for the Christian community to reach out and help one another and seriously address the needs of hurting men and women.” He, along with fellow ministers and volunteers, desire to offer messages and opportunities of hope and constructive alternatives so that “we can successfully return restored men and women to their families and our communities.”

• Social Development & Fellowship (on-site/off-site with partnering congregations)
• Counseling Group Support and Specialty Workshops and Retreats
• Life Skills Preparation and Career Development
• Financial Planning, Saving and Personal Budget Development
• Skill Training and Development

Participants are housed in furnished units complete with cooking and laundry facilities, television, and the elements of home. Participants must abide by all rules and regulations and will screened and presented a contract of mutual agreement.
